It was a warm and sunny day in Tanjung Malim, Perak. The drive from KL city took around 1 hour to reach. This small little town offers a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere with a mix of historical charm and modern development.
Cycling in Tanjung Malim offers a surprisingly delightful mix of scenic countryside, historical town vibes, and peaceful village roads, making it a hidden gem for both casual cyclists and road biking enthusiasts. If you are a mural art lover, there are plenty of them painted in the heart of Tanjung Malim town.
As Malaysians, scouting for tasty local food when we travel is a must! I enjoyed a comforting local coffee with toasted sandwich at a kopitiam in the morning, and later tried the famous tri-colored pan mee for lunch.

🏕️ After spending half day in Tanjung Malim town, i departed to a nearby private campsite called "Forest 8 Senses" as recommended by friend. To my surprise, the place was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. It really made my stay extra comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the river — its cool, gentle flow was perfect for a refreshing dip, especially for the kids!
